Fumikage Tokoyami “Jet-Black Hero” Funko POP

From My Hero Academia, Fumikage TokoyamiJet-Black Hero“, as a stylized POP vinyl from Funko! Fumikage Tokoyami, also known as the Jet-Black Hero: Tsukuyomi, is a student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School, training to become a Pro Hero. Fumikage is a short young man with the head of a black bird, possibly supposed to resemble that of a crow or a raven. He has a tan, yellowish beak which is slightly hooked down at the end, thin, red eyes with a small black pupil, one on each side of his head, and a red choker, which he rarely removes. Despite the appearance of his head, however, his body looks like one of a normal human, with rather fair skin. After his internship training with Hawks, Fumikage has become more muscular. After the Paranormal Liberation War, he gains a scar on his left foot as a result of Dabi’s flames. His costume consists of a robe, black, but tinted a dark purple where light hits it, that covers his entire body, only stopping halfway down his shins, and knee-high black boots. During the Joint Training Arc, it was revealed that under this cape he wears a dark t-shirt, wristbands, a pair of baggy pants, similar to the ones Katsuki Bakugo wears in his hero costume, and a utility belt with a double pin buckle.

Fumikage’s Quirk allows him to manifest a sentient, shadowy being from his body that he can control and use, both in combat scenarios as well as to aid him and allies. The creature Dark Shadow is in fact a sentient being who communicates with Fumikage telepathically and acts somewhat like a guardian towards the young hero in training. Dark Shadow is capable of shapeshifting to some extent, and can use it’s long body and claws as weapons, as shown with how it attacked Momo Yaoyorozu during the Sports Festival match and easily knocked her out of the ring. However, one major drawback is balancing Dark Shadow’s great power with Fumikage’s control over it. In the light, Dark Shadow is more docile yet can still be controlled and (mostly) follows Fumikage’s command to the letter. In the darkness however, Dark Shadow becomes extremely more powerful but also more chaotic, destructive and uncontrollable. This power extends to where Dark Shadow in the night of the forest camp, was capable of defeating Moonfish, an extremely powerful and dangerous B-Rank villain, and cut through his blade-like teeth with relative ease and knocked the villain out cold. Furthermore, Dark Shadow is also naturally weak against light, as shown by how Katsuki Bakugo used his Explosion Quirk to incapacitate the creature.

My Hero Academia Kurogiri “Black Fog” Funko POP

From My Hero Academia, Kurogiri “Black Fog”, as a stylized POP vinyl from Funko! Kurogiri is a major antagonist of the manga/anime series My Hero Academia. He is the League of Villainssecond-in-command, and one of Tomura Shigaraki‘s most faithful servants. Like the rest of the League, he desires to kill All Might and help to create a new world in Tomura‘s image. It is later revealed that Kurogiri is actually the long-lost friend of Shota Aizawa and Hizashi Yamada, Oboro Shirakumo, who was believed to have been killed in an accident during their internship. It is revealed that his corpse was taken away before its cremation and mutated into that of a unique Nomu by the acts of All For One and Daruma Ujiko. As his name implies, Kurogiri’s entire body is made out of a dark purple mist, save for his eyes, which are glowing yellow. He normally wears a very elegant suit with a tie and has a metal brace that goes from around his collarbone to just below his eyes.

In his villain costume, he covers himself in his dark fog with only the metal brace around his neck being visible. Unlike the rest of his fellow villains, Kurogiri is a calm and collected person. When he first encounters Thirteen and his students, he introduces himself and greets them in a respectful manner, exchanging names to them and such. Nonetheless, he is quite sinister, as he has no problem with harming the heroes in any way, let alone killing them. He also seems act as a mentor of Tomura Shigaraki’s in a way, despite his position. After Nomu’s defeat, Kurogiri tried to keep Shigaraki calm about the situation. When Dabi and Toga attempted to join the league, Kurogiri advised Shigaraki that he should be rationalized and allow them introduce themselves, instead of creating conflict. Ever since his imprisonment in Tartarus, Kurogiri has been behaving rather oddly. Recently, Gran Torino and Naomasa Tsukauchi have been noting his behavior, in which they have commented how he behaves very identical to a Nomu.

Kurogiri will tend to ramble on about various topics, but the moment the League of Villains are brought up as a topic, he immediately keeps quiet, as if his mind is being manipulated. Despite this, he continues to wonder how Tomura is, feeling that it’s important for him to look after him, showing his immense loyalty to him. It appears, however, that he might still possess a very small amount of Oboro’s memories because Shota was able to get through him long enough for Oboro to take control. As Oboro Shirakumo, he was a young man noted for his jovial and cheerful demeanour, coupled with an energetic and goofy sense of humor. Aside from this, he was also brave, altruistic and selfless, as shown when he used his Quirk to save children from falling debris. He also encouraged his friend Shota Aizawa to keep trying his best and to keep smiling, even when faced with failure.
